LYS School was born from a simple belief: that the art of natural hair styling deserves professional recognition and that everyone passionate about this craft deserves access to quality education.
Our founder, a licensed cosmetologist and master braider with over 20 years of experience, saw the need for dedicated training in hair braiding, locs, and protective styles—techniques often underserved by traditional cosmetology schools.
Today, we're proud to be one of Illinois' leading natural hair education institutions, having helped hundreds of students earn their licenses and build successful careers.
